The UPSC CISF AC(EXE) LDCE is a limited departmental competitive examination conducted by the Union Public Service Commission for the recruitment of Assistant Commandants in the Central Industrial Security Force. Service Criteria

Candidate must be a serving personnel in CISF with:

  • Sub-Inspector/Exe (GD) with 5 years of regular service
  • Inspector/Exe (GD) with 2 years of regular service
  • ASI (GD) with 8 years of regular service
  • Head Constable (GD) with 10 years of regular service

Age Limit

A candidate must not have attained the age of 35 years as on 1st August of the examination year.

Age relaxation is applicable as per government rules:

Physical Standards

Candidates must meet the following physical standards:

For Male Candidates

  • Height: 165 cm
  • Chest: 81-86 cm (unexpanded-expanded)
  • Weight: Proportionate to height

For Female Candidates

  • Height: 157 cm
  • Weight: Proportionate to height

Physical Efficiency Test (PET) & Physical Standard Test (PST)

Candidates who qualify the written examination are called for PET and PST:

Physical Efficiency Test (Male Candidates)

  • 100 meters race in 16 seconds
  • 800 meters race in 3 minutes
  • Long Jump: 3.5 meters (3 chances)
  • Shot Put (7.26 Kgs): 4.5 meters

Physical Efficiency Test (Female Candidates)

  • 100 meters race in 18 seconds
  • 800 meters race in 4 minutes
  • Long Jump: 3.0 meters (3 chances)
  • Shot Put (4 Kgs): 3.5 meters

Physical Standard Test

Measurement of height, chest (for males), and weight to ensure they meet the prescribed standards.

Interview/Personality Test

Candidates who qualify the written examination and PET/PST are called for Interview/Personality Test:

  • Carries 150 marks
  • Assesses leadership qualities, mental alertness, critical powers of assimilation
  • Clear and logical exposition, balance of judgment, variety and depth of interest
  • Ability for social cohesion, intellectual and moral integrity
