To apply for JIPMER MBBS entrance exam, candidates must fulfill the following eligibility criteria:
Academic Qualification
Candidate must have passed Higher Secondary Certificate Examination (10+2) or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology and English with minimum 50% marks (40% for OBC/SC/ST candidates and 45% for General-PH candidates).
Age Limit
Candidate must have completed 17 years of age at the time of admission or will complete the age on or before 31st December of the year of admission. There is no upper age limit for JIPMER MBBS exam.
Nationality
Indian Nationals, Non-Resident Indians (NRIs), and Overseas Citizen of India (OCI) are eligible to apply for JIPMER MBBS entrance exam.
Note: Candidates who are appearing or have appeared in the qualifying examination and are awaiting results are also eligible to apply, but they must submit the passing certificate at the time of counseling.
