MAT Exam Overview
The Management Aptitude Test (MAT) is a standardized test conducted by the All India Management Association (AIMA) to facilitate Business Schools (B-Schools) in screening candidates for admission to MBA and allied programs.
Exam Frequency
MAT is conducted four times a year in February, May, September, and December. The exam is offered in both computer-based (CBT) and paper-based (PBT) formats.

Educational Qualification
Candidates must have completed a Bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognized university. Final year graduation students can also apply.
Minimum Marks
There is no minimum percentage requirement specified by AIMA for appearing in MAT. However, individual management institutes may have their own cut-off marks.
Nationality
Indian nationals as well as foreign nationals/NRIs can apply for the MAT exam. Foreign nationals must follow the specific guidelines provided by AIMA.
Attempts
There is no restriction on the number of attempts for the MAT exam. Candidates can appear for the exam as many times as they want.
